Theory Of Colour

Would you like to know how to mix any colour, or find out why you sometimes end up with a muddy brown? Wonder how to put colour theory into practice? Understand why some colours work together?  This workshop is designed for anyone who is interested in finding out more about the principles and application of colour theory - including artists, designers, textile artists etc.

This workshop with Zoe Eaton. provides some practical applications of colour theory, using a combination of exercises and discussion. During the session you will:
Create a 12 part colour wheel from 6 colours
Recognise the difference between colour bias, hue and tone
Learn effective use of colour to create contrast, definition, harrmony and depth.
Build your own colour notes to refer to later.
